Pedro R. Carrillo received a Bachelor of Business administration from the University of Miami and then went on to receive a Master in Business Administration (MBA) from Barry University in Miami Shores, Florida. After receiving his MBA, Pedro worked in the business world as an insurance broker and financial consultant for large multinational financial company. Ultimately Pedro received a law degree from what is now known as Western Michigan University Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan. After being admitted to the Florida Bar in 1997 he began practicing law in Miami working for a litigation firm in the areas of insurance defense and commercial litigation. After a few years he formed his own law firm with the goal of representing people in the areas of consumer disputes, debt defense, bankruptcy, foreclosure defense and real estate. He has appeared in the state courts of Florida, the Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Florida, Florida State Courts, Federal trial courts of the Southern District of Florida.
In his practical experience, Pedro brings a practical, people friendly, common sense approach to the cases he handles for his clients. His practice focuses on representing individual clients with creative approaches to achieve the most effective and reasonably economical approach to achieve the client’s desired results. In most cases the first step in helping clients is helping people understand the issues they are facing before helping them resolve their problems.
Pedro is admitted to the Florida Bar, the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida and the Bankruptcy Division of the United States District Court for the South District of Florida.
Pedro was born and raised in Miami, Florida. He is bilingual as he is fluent in English and Spanish
